Gratitude for the Land

The Land Acknowledgement has become a new standard for conducting gatherings across diverse communities and organizations. By taking this moment to be thankful for the land we share, settlers and Indigenous people alike have the chance to connect with each other. In naming the Indigenous Nations of our region, we can honour the ancestors who have taken care of this earth long into the past - and be inspired to join together in this spirit long into the future.
