International Development Week 2023

Curated by the Alberta Council for Global Cooperation (ACGC), and inspired by Canada’s International Development Week (February 5 – 11, 2023), this list highlights stories of people in and from places like Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and Ghana. This list includes experiences of courage and compassion in the face of inequitable systems, while key themes are climate change, gender equality, poverty, and the fight for change. ACGC is a network of organizations and individuals, located in Alberta, working locally and globally to advance sustainable development and global citizenship.
