The Buffalo Treaty was first signed in 2014 between a number of First Nations in Alberta and Montana, with more nations joining afterward (the majority of the Treaty 7 nations have signed it). The intention of the treaty was for all of the nations who have a relationship with the buffalo to collaborate together. This resource shares some interesting cultural information, as well as the seasons when each of these plants is in bloom. Show less
