[SPOILERS IMMINENT] Deadline is everything one could hope for in a sequel, especially following Georgia's death. Shaun's clearly codependent relationship with Georgia didn't go away, it lingered with him in the worst of ways. The Coda is the reason I came back to this book and re-read it before venturing on to the final book in the series. The hint at an incestual relationship I interpreted as an extreme temporary symptom of his schizophrenia, not an actual relationship between the two, as many readers have believed. Overall, although it doesn't live up to the first book, I believe that Shaun's descent into insanity will repair itself in the next book, if the siblings are reunited. A great book.
