This isn't the killer release I was expecting, but it certainly has moments of beauty and artistry, and overall it was enjoyable. I enjoyed the duets with Charlie Sexton, Jimmy Vaughn and Billy Gibbons, here she really has the goods, and I've always felt her versions of 30's women blues (Send me to the electric chair,Me and my chauffeur) are spot on.The final 3rd of this recording really showcases her guitar talents and singing, maybe next time more of this and less of the pedestrian blues shuffles, shes way better than that.
