I found this title in a list of publications from Dundurn Press -- Canadian mysteries and crime fiction, yay! -- in the back of another book from Dundurn. If you check out this book, look at the list at the back. I enjoyed this book, and found myself wishing I'd read the previous books in the series before this one. The main characters, Cal Dion and Dave Leith, are presented in depth, and the dynamic between them is intriguing. A couple of the stars are for the Vancouver setting, the weather, the forest... The lost stars are my relative disappointment at the treatment of female characters.
