Ask Amy fans be warned: the title of this book is misleading, as it is entirely about Amy's life, not her career. Her writing is a bit egotistical (she herself admits this at times), and her life story is rather average, though she over-dramatizes certain parts to make it seem novel. The entire book gushes about her sickeningly charming hometown of Freeville, and dwells on several sad but foreseeable events, while never really discussing her swanky, well-paid, jet-setting dream job. I was surprised to see she wrote ANOTHER memoir several years ago; I was unsurprised to see Freeville is in the title. Not sure how many more memoirs she can pump out, but at some point it'd be nice to actually hear about these Strangers who Tell her Things.
