Spectre is the latest James Bond film, but unfortunately, it does not live up to the expectations. The story starts off with Daniel Craig killing the leader of the terrorist organization in an unauthorized mission in Mexico. In spite of being suspended soon after, he ventures alone to obtain more information on the organization, which leads to surprising amounts of information being unveiled. Touching on Bond’s family ties, the film tries to move in a slightly different path from its recent predecessors, but in vain. This is because the film comes off as boring, applying the same formula with nothing majorly new to offer. While the action scenes and car chases are still engaging to watch, the direction of the plot is weaker. By the end of the film, many viewers, including myself, perceive the film as average at best. This is why I would give it a rating of 3 stars. @Riveting_Reviews of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board
