In Tales from the Toronto Blue Jays Dugout , Jim Prime, who has written several books on the AL East rival Boston Red Sox, captures all of the best moments in Blue Jays history, from the most thrilling to the most humorous, and so much more. Stories of players and coaches from both on and off the field can be found here, including tales of All-Stars Dave Stieb and Carlos Delgado; Hall of Famers Dave Winfield, Rickey Henderson, and Roberto Alomar; and many more memorable Blue Jays, past and present.

This is terrible. As a huge Jays fan, I was excited to read this book. The claim is that there are unique stories to be told. It's mostly quotes from Jerry Howarth and Matt Stairs about how great guys were.

There was no apparent editing as statements are repeated on multiple occasions (e.g. writing a paragraph about a player's great season, throwing in some other story and then repeating the description of the great season again). The "story" about Rajai Davis isn't really; it's about a high-scoring game and doesn't really reference Rajai.

The worst part is the inaccuracies. I thought the author would know more than me in regards to the Blue Jays. He appeared to know less. J.P. Arencibia was picked up by Texas, not Florida (who don't exist - it's Miami). Dave Winfield went to Minnesota after Toronto, not New York.

Don't bother. This was a waste of time. No particularly interesting tidbits or stories.
