Truth is definitely stranger than fiction and this mystery is weird on top of weird, but is utterly intriguing and Ms Greenwood has put all the facts together in a fresh and entertaining way, managing to weave her father's own story into that of the Somerton Man as they were in Adelaide at the same time. Fans of Kerry Greenwood's wonderful sleuth, Miss Fisher, will enjoy the little tidbit of a story at the end of the book where a middle-aged Phryne has a go at solving the mystery herself. Riveting all round.
