Although this book dates back to the 1980s, the storyline spans the first half of the 20th century. Judith Kranz created three strong characters in Eve and her two daughters Delphine and Marie-Frédérique (Freddy). Each one dared to defy convention and pursue their dreams : Eve on the stage, Delphine in film and Freddy in the sky.
A fast read and enjoyable if you want to read a romance novel.
