Rob Lowe's love life is a range of everything he loves in life: it's an extensive range of love for his family, his career, his crazy experiences at the playboy mansion and the time he played a Sasquatch during a family camping trip. I was touched by the emotion captured with the departure of his first son to college, the feelings were mutual with the departure of my own son going away to college for the first time. The only thing I disliked about his book was his side-note. He remarked on the Dewey Decimal system and libraries becoming irrelevant. I would not have read this story without the library.
I haven't seen much of his work in film or on TV, I just happen to love biographies. Know that you do not need to be a fan to read this book. Love is universal and so are the stories that he recounts.
Side-note: Libraries are a part of my love life!
