Summer is hectic for Annie Darling. Sun and scorching temperatures bring swarms of tourists to her mystery bookstore for beach reads. But the Broward's Rock Fourth of July dance is just around the corner, and the island is buzzing with excitement -- Shell Hurst included. Shell is the kind of woman wives wish would just disappear. But when she does, and a teenage girl is the only one who seems to notice, Annie can't help but feel like someone should be looking for her.

Couldn't put it down.
Very well written I liked the method of telling the story

If you like this series, you'll enjoy this book. As usual, Hart begins the novel with introductory vignettes of all the potential suspects and the victim. I admit that this approach always tends to scatter my thoughts, so that I can't remember exactly who is who as the novel progresses. On the other hand, they are all right up front, so I can go back and easily refresh my memory on who's who. And, since I'm used to Hart's pattern for these novels, I am getting better at guessing whodunnit. :)

I found this book tedious and drawn out. Too confusing with too many characters. Very boring

A quick, fun whodunnit for lovers of all things Agatha Christie. I always enjoy escaping to Broward's Rock with Max and Annie.
