Not one of Woody' s best by any means. Too wordy and too much going on. He also usually only uses good music between dialogue, this was often through it and very annoying and loud.

I liked the acting of Roberto Benigni, Penelope Cruz, and Judy Davis. The Roberto Benigni scenes are mostly funny. There are some funny scenes with Milly in a hotel room towards the end which I won't spoil by sharing. I enjoyed the music and scenery of Rome. Over all, though, I found the movie pretty disjointed to watch with too much focus on sexual infidelity. I thought Woody Allen's movie "Midnight in Paris" had a much better plot.

Silly funny movie. Reminded me of a French farce. Loved Roberto Benigni bit. The shower scenes just great! Beautiful Rome scenes.

Fabulous movie. Amusing, sexy, and an affectionate nod to early Fellini. The opera/shower sequence is a standout.

My only quibble is Ellen Page -- she really isn't that good a performer, and the subplot involving her and Jesse Eisenberg was something Allen did a lot better in his great film Anything Else.

I have to agree with every criticism in the comments, but the movie is incredibly enjoyable to watch, especially criticising as you watch it.

The scenery is spectacular, the acting is superb, the script is super intelligent... I can go on and on and on.

It wasn't bad, but I wasn't interested enough to watch the whole thing.

Beautifully set in Paris, To Rome with Love, the latest opus from director Woody Allen , is a picture postcard of the City of Romance. So much made this film great. Wonderful characters, enchanting setting. Allen brings everything to the table and more. Ive viewed this film twice and each time I came away with something new and different. What held my interest most of all, was the way each character relationship played out, and you invested in each situation. A film I recommend you see once or twice.

I think the Woodman has a touch of senile dementia judging from this movie.

Classic Woody Allen. Escapist fiction with super funny moments. I still laugh out loud when I think of the singing in the shower. You'll know what I mean after you watch it.
