There is a lot of drama in this novel and I quite liked it except for the ending which I thought was a cop out.

A saga across the generations. I usually love to get my teeth into a saga, however this is a tale with a lot of not very nice people in it. The story starts before the First World War, Tyringham Park is in Ireland, there is a tragedy when the youngest daughter of Lord Waldren goes missing. Many years pass before we discover the fate of this young child.
