While fan fiction for Jane Austen abounds, this novel deserves notice for several reasons. Written in 1913, it was the first attempt. While the cast of Pride & Prejudice predominant, characters from all the novels are present. Finally, the author maintains the style of Jane Austen and (mostly) contains the personalities of the characters as presented in the original books.
