This is the inspiring, gripping, and unbelievable story of a young Afghan refugee as he travels across Europe to find a place to call home. Abandoned by his mother when he is only 10, he faces a huge number of challenges (both natural and man-made) that he must overcome to make his way in the world.
Given the current state of the world and our current issues with Syrian refugees and other refugees trying to make it to mainland Europe, this is definitely worth a read for both older children and adults.
