A thrilling new series soars above the competition and redefines middle-grade fantasy fiction for a new generation!

The seven dragon tribes have been at war for generations, locked in an endless battle over an ancient, lost treasure. A secret movement called the Talons of Peace is determined to bring an end to the fighting, with the help of a prophecy-a foretelling that calls for great sacrifice.

Five dragonets are collected to fulfill the prophecy, raised in a hidden cave and enlisted, against their will, to end the terrible war.

But not every dragonet wants a destiny. And when the select five escape their underground captors to look for their original homes, what has been unleashed on the dragon world may be far more than the revolutionary planners intended...

I loved the entire series enough to read all again once its complete, the one downside is that it isn't complete. I love how the author captures human nature completely, with daring villians, and plenty of suspense and i just love how the series is split into 3 prophecies. i recommend this series to everyone, at least try it!!!!!

Wings of Fire: The Dragonet Prophecy by Tui Sutherland, is a wonderful book, written good. Sutherland beautifully uses a cliché and turns it into a unique and captivating story with dragons, prophecies, war, scavengers, and action. Sutherland does a great job in the five dragonet's personalities; each of them having a different and unique personality which sets them apart. Sutherland develops each character excellently through one of the best series I have read. The book has violence, which I like, but for some other readers it’s a negative. One detail I really like in the book is that humans are scavengers and dragons are the superior race. I give Wings of Fire: The Dragonet Prophecy a 4.6/5 rating. I recommended readers above the age of 8 to read the book and the whole series. It’s fun, faced-paced, and adventure packed with an edge.

Violence: There is some slashing and clashing (and face melting, betrayal and getting hugged to death (literally)) but as long as you don't have a super vivid imagination you'll be fine.

Do you like books with dragons, prophecies, and war? If you do this book is for you. I highly recommended it.

The seven dragon tribes have been in war for years. There is a prophecy that says five dragonets will come and chose a new SandWing queen (Blister, Blaze or Burn) since the death of the sisters’ mother, Queen Oasis. The dragonets have been hidden in a cave for their whole life’s’ and are supposed to come out and save the world at the 20th year of the war.

Tsunami (the SeaWing dragonet) thinks the dragonets should escape from there guardian and save the world sooner and find their family.

Clay (the MudWing dragonet) is not so sure about leaving the cave and guardian. Dragons in Pyrrhia would love to get their claws on the dragonets and kill them to ruin the prophecy.

Will Clay chose to follow the prophecy and wait two more long years or make this own destiny?

Join this claw fighting adventure with Clay and the rest of the dragonets! This series has five more books. Keep an eye out for “The lost Heir”
If you like this book you may also like “Warriors”. Tui T. Sutherland (the author of Wings of Fire) is one of the six authors of the “Warriors” series.

I hope you enjoy this book!

The dragonets are coming, they're coming to save the day. They're here to fight, they know what's right, the dragonets hooray!

the dragonets of the prophecy have lived in a cave their whole lives, never experiencing the outside world. Apart from a few objects their guardians bring back they don't even know what it looks like! One day Clay, Glory, Tsunami, Sunny and Starflight decide to escape. Little do they know that this one decision will change their lives forever.

Follow clay as he escapes from his cave, runs in to the queen of the sky wings and even meets a dragon with burning scales!

Gladiator fights were never so good!
