They gather their three children to tell them the terrible news, but before they can speak, their daughter makes a joyous announcement of her own: She is getting married. John and Abby decide to postpone their news until after the wedding. As the big day approaches, questions continue to haunt them. Is the decision they've made irreversible? Add a CommentThis book was both horrible (because it may me cry a lot), and wonderful (because it shows how God still works in the lives of those that love Him). It is filled with scripture and the message of trusting Him, forgiveness, and honoring God and the vows given in marriage. If you begin reading it, don't stop because of the tears........ Read it all the way through!!! I promise, happy tears will come too.
Wonderful book about TRUE love...not just a feeling but a sacrifice. If you like Karen Kingsbury, you will like this book...it is the best of her books that I have read so far.
Here's the thing: if you enjoy Karen Kingsbury, you will love this! It was a pretty good story and I really liked a lot of the characters. But I don't think I can give many Karen Kingsbury books more than three stars. Good for a light read though
