It seems that Bones and Cat just never can get a break. This time a "dead" witch hunter has to be stopped before he can kill any more innocent women on Halloween. Lots of action and romance in is book.

much better than previous ones - made me like the series again

I found this entry to be more intriguing than the rest of the series, mainly because Frost informs us that there really was a witch hunter named Heinrich Kramer and he did write the book Malleus Maleficarum that angers Cat so deeply. I, too, found a copy online and once you get past the Olde English style it’s positively chilling.

One Grave at a Time by Jeaniene Frost is a perfect mixture of all things urban fantasy and paranormal romance. The best parts of this story are all the relationships- Cat and Bones, Spade and Denise, Dexter and Tyler, Fabian and Cat... And though this book is the sixth in the series, I think it could be read as a stand alone. There is just enough throwback without it feeling tedious to old fans of the series.

I love the adventures of Cat and Bones. Funny, fast. Cannot wait for the next book.

You seem pretty relaxed about this whole situation," I said with mild exasperation, noting the nonchalance in his tone and vibe.
Bones all but rolled his eyes. "Why wouldn't I be? For the first time in years, our relationship is solid, no one's actively trying to murder us, and our closest mates are happy. Blimey, Kitten, if I were any more relaxed, I'd need a smoke."
