I am in awe of how the author combines the world and mood of H.P.Lovecraft with the grit of a logic-based industrial city and at the same time incorporating the darker side of faeries. An incredible series, though the titles give you an idea that the books do not match.

Another book whose title and cover do not do the story justice. A fabulous story of escape and survival in a Lovecraftian steampunk world. I would love to read a prequel following students in the School of Engines, which doesn't get nearly enough page time.
