Overall I like the Lenore Look books very much (Ruby Lu, Alvin Ho). So I was extremely disappointed to find so many racist elements in this book. Alvin goes to a party and dresses in redface. He proceeds to do all the stereotypically war whooping, etc. Look really dropped the ball on this one. It took all the charm out of Alvin Ho for me.
