I love a 'multi-point of view' book. The narration switches between Kate and Tim, the central couple of the story, and one of Tim's students, Bea(?). Kate and Tim have two kids, but they are not the focus of the story. Rather the story really concentrates on the relationship that Kate and Tim have, and their interactions with others in the neighbourhood, including students, other parents, Kate's ex and Anna Brody.
Most fun I"ve had reading a novel in ages...reads like a younger John Irving.
