Admittedly, I am not a musician but a writer who dissects lyrics of of album I listen to. I am always fascinated with creativity and the muses that bring it forth, I thought this would be a natural candidate for favourite. Well, it didn't become a favourite and I am passing it on but I did enjoy most of the journey. This book further demonstrated that not all lyricist are good writers, egos can get in the way and some simply did not understand the assignment. However, it did have a good variety of songs meant to have a message, just for expression, impulsive/inspired writing and long works of art that were crafted. Not every song/chapter contained insight but there is something to be gained, a new understanding, within this book.
