A fun read-aloud for little ones who are learning their ABCs.

It's sleepy time in Alphabet Town. But the twenty-six little letters of the alphabet all have something they need--or want--to do before big-letter moms and dads tuck them in. Not since the classic Chicka Chicka Boom Boom has there been such an appealing way to teach the youngest child the ABCs while providing a one-minute goodnight story. Of course, Melissa Sweet's animated watercolor, pencil, and collage illustrations may beg for a little more time to match up all the toys with the right letters, and Judy Sierra' s rollicking rhymed story will want to be heard again and again. Okay, so maybe it' s a three-minute story!

Sleepy Little Alphabet is a lovely alphabet book featuring the lowercase letters. Images throughout each page reassert the letters being showcased. Overall, a fun and stimulating book for children learning their alphabet.

Wonderful lower case alphabet book that uses cartoon characters of the alphabet lower case-in a very cute and easy to remember story.
We (my 4 y/o and I) can't get enough of this book!!!

My 20-month-old absolutely adores this book — I've renewed it 3 times and am sad to have to return it. The illustrations and words are simple and hilarious — lots to look at and point out. And the last page has all the letters together so you can go through and sing the full alphabet; I don't think it's a total coincidence that while we've had this book out that my son learned to sing the entire song on his own.

My daughter loves this book before bed time, and it teaches her about her lower-case alphabet. Nice and short, and cute illustrations.

A cute story about how the lowercase letters don't want to go to bed. Good rhymes and nice illustrations.
