Time itself is splintering. If the catastrophic consequences of time travel are now impossible to ignore, Lord Luxon only has eyes for its awesome possibilities. He has his sights set on no lesser prize than America. Abducted to 1763, Peter and Kate begin to understand that history has arrived at its tipping point. Adrift in time, Kate transforms into an oracle, able to see the future as easily as the past. While Gideon does all he can to help, he is tormented by the knowledge that The Tar Man, his nemesis, is also his own brother. As they pursue him through the dark streets of eighteenth-century London, and the time quakes begin, Peter realises that this monster may hold the fate of all of us in his hands.

These books brought tears and smiles to my face. They were amazing, im so sad the series ended. I am a fan and i honestly love these books so much. It made me cry which few books make me do. It made my heart melt all three of the books: The time travelers, the time thief and finally (unfourtantly) the The time quake. You are extremley talented author, please keep writing books! LONG LIVE MASTER PETER, MASTER GIDEON, MASTER BLUESKIN(THE TAR MAN, OR NATHEINAL)
SIR RICHARD, TOBY, MISTRESS KATE, MISTRESS HANNAH, QUEEN CHARLOTTLE, MRS. AND MR. DYER, ADN THE SCHOCKS, DR.PIRETTI AND EVERYONE ELSE!

Fabulous ending to the trilogy. Linda Buckley-Archer's descriptions of parallel universes is very believable, although the "talking" between them is a little less believable. Love how the characters have all changed since the first book, especially the Tar Man. I felt the ending just a little bit rushed, but it wasn't a big deal. Great, great, series, albeit a little confusing at first.
