In this seductive anthology, four masters of paranormal romance explore the boundaries of erotic shape-shifting fantasy-and shatter them.

Something happens when the beast within is teased and tempted. Something dangerous. Something inescapable. Something so irresistible no woman would want to run from it.

Whether transforming beneath a cool blue moon, prowling the night streets with feline grace and bloodred talons, or panting with pleasure, the shifters come alive to fulfill the wildest of fantasies . . .

Mad Dog Love - Angela Knight (4.5 stars)
/
Great story, great characters, plenty of surprises and steamy sex scenes. It's a novella, so the inherent limitations apply, but there is actual progression with the relationship. Also, I appreciate that both of the main characters are strong and rescue/defend each other at different points.

A Jaguar's Kiss - Lora Leigh (3.5 stars)
/
Mostly good. I like Leigh's Breed universe and the intensity with which they love and value their mates. I wanted to learn more about Saban, but liked what I saw. I waffled on Natalie; sometimes she came across as strong and at other times foolish and way too stubborn. It also annoyed me that she was so hypocritical about communication with Saban, but not enough to ruin the story. Side note: I thought it was kind of pretentious/ridiculous to have for a foreword and a prologue in a novella of this length.

Shifter's Lady - Alyssa Day (3.5 stars)
/
Unlike the other authors, this was my first exposure to Day. I'm intrigued by the back stories of the other characters and may check out some of her books in the future. Good pacing, likeable and strong characters who don't lose track of reason (a pet peeve of mine), and a few twists. Because it's a novella, I realize that everything is condensed, so I will be interested to see what she does with a full-length novel.

Sea Crossing - Virginia Kantra (4 stars)

This story is the reason I picked up this anthology, as I wanted to get into Kantra's The Children Of The Sea series. The main characters are strong, likeable, and realistic. Their internal and external challenges were believable, and they made pretty decent progress in their relationship over the span of the story. There's an excerpt from Sea Witch, the first full novel in The Children Of The Sea, at the end of the book, and I'm excited to see that it's contemporary, as opposed to the novella prequels.
