Interesting way to look at the world from a different angle, however the author uses one-dimensional thinking to propose a "one size fits all" solution to current problems throughout the world. He completely ignores the human element when offering his solutions and he seems to believe economic theory is the only way to solve problems.

The author argues that significantly raising parking rates in cities and outsourcing jobs because it will "free us up to perform other jobs" will make us happier. It would be hard to find a Hamiltonian who lost a manufacturing job to China or the U.S. who is happier because they are free to work other lower paying jobs or can't find work at all.

Economic decisions are products of mathematics. Some ideas hard to grasp. Good humour
