I really liked this film. I thought the story was entertaining and I liked the new character, Sybok, though I have to admit that whereas some of the characters liked him as a result of his pain therapy, I was with Kirk in distrusting/not liking him. But he did redeem himself somewhat at the end, for which I was grateful for Spock's sake.
