I I like E.M. Forster movies, they take you to faraway places in the British Empire. This is not the best of them, and that is because there are no people that you truly identify with. On the other hand the cinematography is great, similar to The Pearl Earring. This story has many surprises as it takes you down untrodden paths. That makes it an enjoyable story.
Excellent film, what I could understand of it. There were no subtitles & dialogue sometimes hard to understand. I think it's meant to be kind of a tragi-comedy, making fun of repressed Brits. Judy Davis is especially wonderful.
Ghastly, dreadful, zzzZZZzzz
Boring. I couldn't even finish it. I should have know better after watching "A Room With A View." Oh well. I did have a nice nap. :D
The master of plots with plots. I think however that a mod reader would find the language too sophisticated...but then I went to a similar school as the author. A brilliant writer.
BORING. I really didn't care for "A Room WIth A View"or "Howard's End" but thought Imight like this better. Nope.
