The beginning of the book explains the 3 phases of the SB Diet and is followed by chapters filled with recipes for each phase. You almost don't have to bother with reading the actual South Beach Diet Book.
Just a note ... the index at the back is poorly laid out.
The low-carb, good fat style of eating is good and healthy (I lost 40 lbs!).
