I'm so sorry Nightwing1715! My friend wrote that and I never noticed it before now! I can't believe my friend said that! I'm not her friend anymore. Your reading power is really great Nightwing1715. Keep up reading that fast. I could never read that fast. I really apologize for my friend and I take back everything that she said. I also like your name! I take full blame for it

It's a pretty great book, but I kinda wish Rusty wasn't such a Gary-stu (perfect character). But I still LOVE the Warriors series, and my favorite character is Stonefur.

I can barely remember when I was in 2nd grade and my English teacher told me I was at a high enough level that I could read Warriors. We were in the school library and she handed me the first one. When I started reading that book, I knew it was one of the series that would stick with me and that I would stick with for a long, long time. Still now, in 5th grade, I'm reading Warriors and I love it as much as I did when I began to read the series. This series is awesome and my favorite cat is actually Spottedleaf. Even when she's dead. She's so kind and graceful, and I don't know if you've read the Warriors SkyClan graphic novels, but Leafstar gets a dream-visit from Spottedleaf and Spottedleaf warns Leafstar about something very bad to happen... I'm not going to give away anything for now.... But great book! I'm looking forward to the next Warriors books!

this book was AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!! i love warrior books!!!!!!!!!!!!anyone should totaly read it!!!!!!go warriors

This is the first book in the first Warriors series. If you are thinking about starting this series, don't get to attached to any of the characters. There's a lot of death in this series. It's not like, horrible or anything, but lots of characters die. It IS the wild after all. Other than that, I love these books!

"The Clan may not be able to offer you such easy food or warmth. In the season of leaf-bare, nights in the forest can be cruel. The Clan will demand great loyalty and hard work. You will be expected to protect your Clan with your life if necessary. And there are many mouths to feed. But the rewards are great. You will remain a tom. You will be trained in the ways of the wild. You will learn what it is like to be a real cat. The strength and the fellowship of the Clan will always be with you, even when you hunt alone."

Tigerclaw!
Fireheart stared back without blinking. He was a warrior now. He had made an enemy of the Clan's deputy, but Tigerclaw had made an enemy of him. Fireheart was not the same naΓ―ve young cat who had joined the Clan all those moons ago. He was bigger, stronger, faster, and wiser. If he was destined to oppose Tigerclaw, then so be it. Fireheart was ready for the challenge. -Fireheart's thoughts after his and Graystripe's naming ceremonies, pg 272

Into the Wild follows the adventures of a house cat named Rusty. One day, he is invited to join ThunderClan, one of the four Clans of wild cats living in the nearby forest. Rusty agrees, is taken into the Clan, and receives the new name Firepaw. Firepaw becomes friends with fellow apprentice Graypaw, but also encounters hostility due to his outside origin. The real reason, however, that Firepaw was asked to join the Clan, is due to the fact that there is a prophecy that states that "Fire alone can save our Clan". Firepaw encounters various adventures in his training to become a warrior, and receives his warrior name, Fireheart at the end of the novel.

INTO THE WILD is the story of a domestic cat, a kittypet named Rusty, who joins a community of feral cats known as ThunderClan. ThunderClan is one of several feral communities occupying adjoining territories; Rusty is drafted to train as a warrior to help protect the traditional borders of ThunderClan territory as other clans threaten to overrun them. This was an engrossing read, with believable characters and situations. My original fears that it would fall into cutesy-poo language -- talking cats, after all! -- and situations were unfounded. In fact I admire the author''s ability to create immediately understandable terms used by the cats -- sunhigh for noon, for example. INTO THE WILD is the first in the author''s Warriors series, and is followed by FIRE AND ICE, FOREST OF SECRETS, RISING STORM, A DANGEROUS PATH, and THE DARKEST HOUR. The series has also led to a sister series, Warriors: The New Prophecy, with three books to date: MIDNIGHT, MOONRISE, and DAWN.
