The second book in Erin Hunter's #1 nationally bestselling Warriors series

Join the legion of fans who have made Erin Hunter's Warriors series a bestselling phenomenon. More thrilling adventures, epic action, and fierce warrior cats await in Warriors #2: Fire and Ice.

Deep in the heart of the forest, four Clans of warrior cats coexist in uneasy harmony--but uncertain times are upon them, and dangers threaten the precarious balance of the forest.

Fireheart is a ThunderClan warrior now, but his troubles are far from over. The cats of rival RiverClan grow restless, while WindClan is weak and faces threats from all sides. Now Fireheart faces not only imminent battle, but betrayal from within his own Clan.

Fire and Ice is the sequel to Erin Hunter's bestselling novel, 'Into the Wild.' It continues the story of Rusty (now Fireheart) as he brings the lost WindClan home. I found this book more gripping and exciting than the first. It begins with a quest and the excitement doesn't end when they come back from the journey. The middle and ending build up with divided loyalties and friendships and every page is more interesting than the previous. I definitely recommend this book to Warriors book fans and to any cat lover in general. It's thrilling, gripping, and action-packed throughout. I'll give it a 4.5/5.

So now, the little "kittypet" is a full Thunderclan warrior! Is that not so cute?!? Honestly why do people not adore cats? But instead of all the interesting "new" excitement from joining, there is a lot more happening underneath that surface of introduction. Clan rivalries, secrets and betrayals, "political scheming", and a struggle to survive drives cats to do the most desperate of things, Can they unite together and strive? Or will tension tear all apart?

This is such a great book! It's packed with action, and it makes you wonder who you can trust. I do recommend reading the first book in the series, Into the Wild, because in Fire and Ice they refer to things that happened in the first book. This is a must read!

Fire and Ice opens with Fireheart and Graystripe, newly made warriors of ThunderClan, finishing their traditional silent vigil. Soon afterward, the two are given their first assignment as warriors: they must find WindClan, which has been driven out by the rival Clan ShadowClan, and bring them home. The pair eventually locate WindClan sheltering under a neaby highway underpass, and convince them to return home. Fireheart makes friends with some WindClan cats, including Onewhisker.
