It started out as a bad day for little yellow bird, little white dog, little orange fox, and little brown squirrel. Until . . .

A discovery, and love, and luck and persistence, and a different point of view changed all that. What can turn a bad day into a good day? You decide.

I love the progression of this book! My 3 and a half year old was able to tell me what was happening and laugh when the bear came to "ruin" the good day! We especially enjoyed the last page's illustration. Definitely recommend! It's helps with identifying what can create a good day for creatures, what can make it a bad day, and how someone's bad day can be a good day to another person (creature). Overall, enjoyed! It's short and sweet and the illustrations are perfect.

Bird, Fox, Dog, and Squirrel are not starting their day off very well. However, with a little patience, they find that they are able to overcome minor setbacks in order to have a very good day after all. Ages 0-6.
