Such a good book! I love Michael Robotham's books and have to wait about a year for each new one, but so worth the wait!

This is the sequel to Good Girl, Bad Girl. Because I was already invested in these characters, finding out Evie’s backstory kept me engrossed. But her story is not pretty and involves the sensitive subject of child sex rings, so it won’t be for everyone. I like the bond between Evie and Cyrus. They are both damaged by traumatic pasts, but have persevered. Poor Evie especially survived a horrific childhood, and now Cyrus is the one person she lets herself rely on a little bit. This book is told in alternating chapters of Evie’s backstory and Cyrus trying to find and imprison the killers who are after Evie’s so she can finally be safe.
