Yes, was surprised. Better than the first Crank.
How could they ?
By not just amping up the crazy fun action, but adding unexpected comedy.

Crank 2 is Better Than the First One, with respect to the first movie!
Crank 2 is Even More Over-The-Top than the prequel. The 1st was pretty over-the-top as you should already know. The fact that there's a sequel come on, what did you expect! This movie was Quite Entertaining - I'm a bigger fan of Jason Statham after seeing this.

This Movie definitely lives up to it's R Rating. The bad-guys were more interesting, and likeable. YES There is Nudity in this Movie People! The cinematography involved in the nude scenes were unique, and "Graphic Novel-esque". Some of the other "side-scenes" scattered throughout the film were also fun to watch! Also, The Music/Soundtrack is Excellent!

*Been watching a lot of Chinese action movies, this one held up to those and made an excellent addition to the queue. Most impressive! Lastly, the bloopers were great XD

**On Another Note: I'm Shocked to See Such Harsh Reviews Over this Film..
Come On People, What Did You Expect, Did You Even See The First One?! The goal of every sequel is to be it's prequel's equal, at the very least. YES, This Movie Contains Sex, Drugs, and Lots of Violence; that's part of the "Entertainment Value" of this film! In order to top the 1st Crank it was necessary to rev up on the S,D & V.

If you can't appreciation this film for what it is: An R-Rated Hollywood Action Movie than I think it's unfair to make such scornful remarks. To do so, to me, indicates the inability of being able to separate ones personal ethics from ones ability to appreciation film.
Hey, I'm not a big "horror movie person" yet I understand that most movies classified under the genre: horror, aim to exemplify some unique concepts/ideas relative to a subcategory within the scheme of all movies. Critics will/should always vary, at-least somewhat, in opinion. Individuals ought to refrain from critiquing if unable to separate bias for the sake of film appreciation.

This film just doesn't work - - - yes, forced organ harvesting is now with us, just follow what's been going on in China and parts of Asia, and no doubt involving members of the American uber-rich as well, but the movie just doesn't make it happen.

This wasn't the worst movie I've ever seen, it is far from being good. "I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way.”

A silly, vulgar spoof by Statham that just doesn't work on screen. Also, it is not appropriate for children or teens. Statham should go back to "serious" mobster movies and skip his attempts at humor.

First movie was more fun. Second one not so much fun.

Great fun if you like cartoonish super action with drugs, violence and nudity, as Crank 1. Otherwise, a waste of time and offensive:
