Add a CommentA fun movie with some interesting interplay between the characters. In particular Nightwing and batman.
A good story with excellent casting as they voice-actors gave a good sense of life to their respective characters. The plot was easy enough to follow and the animation was convincing for what it was. This may not have been a Hayao Miyazaki animated film, but it was an entertaining for the DC Universe world that is Batman and all that entails. I saw this during the COVID-19 "shutdown" phase we are currently all living through; thus, this movie gave me a good, albeit return-to-my-happier-teen-years 'venture of an escape when I needed one. At just under an hour-and-a-half, I'd say "Batman and Harley Quinn" is worth the watch, if only once.
1 - NOT FOR KIDS
2 - Was it a slow week at DC? This thing is all kinds of stupid and beats around the bush getting anywhere ... but the good news is that it's irritating and pointless.
...NOT FOR CHILDREN !!!
For Adults only ....its entertaining and very light hearted
Since when did DC Comics cartoons follow the same path as their TV action and movie franchises and present sexual ideas to children ?
The BEST batman cartoon! While not exactly for the kids, this movie is funny and sexy, and THIS is the best interpretation of Harley Quinn ever. The main story is just as "MEH" as any other, but the interactions and comedy between batman, Robin & Harley make up for it. I've never wanted to see any other Batman or Teen Titans cartoon movie a second time except this one.
a bit of a throw back to the animated series, great to have Kevin Conroy as the voice of Batman. A bit more geared to adults especially at a couple points. Weak ending yet kind of fit with the movie.
A lighter Batman movie with a humor level aimed more at adults. I think the singing scenes were a bit long-winded. Some of the plot elements were so-so but acceptable for a lighter movie.
Watchable but nothing special.
Demented (in a good way). This animated movie in the tradition of the 90s series (with Kevin Conroy once again voicing the Dark Knight) has Batman and Nightwing reluctantly enlisting the aid of Harley Quinn to track down her pal Poison Ivy. The humour's a bit juvenile (not surprising given that Harley's involved) and a tad bit risque; this is geared more towards adults who grew up with the moody series as opposed to children, something that shows itself in the occasional flash of coarse language.
