The Celts were the first European people north of the Alps to rise from anonymity. Wild and ferocious, they were also romantics and mystics, and they shared a family of languages that are now the oldest living tongues of Europe. Their story is one of survival, defiance, and creativity, often in the face of oppression. The story of The Celts is presented in a six-episode set as told by The Celts themselves. Episodes include: In the Beginning; Heroes in Defeat; The Sacred Groves; and others.

the content is good but I am having a difficult time enduring the soundtrack.

Six fifty minute episodes about a cultural group called the Celts which has disappeared though no one can exactly when, for so gradual was the erosion. The accompanying music was quite enjoyable, but it was often too loud and one had difficulty hearing the narrator. The narration was steady, but sometimes too much so for there were stretches that were so blandly uttered that one had difficulty maintaining one's attention. I found the first two episodes the most interesting and the last one the least.
