Add a CommentA touching ode to the small-town everyman, this romantic drama tells the fantastical story of a mechanic who is mysteriously blessed with mental prowess beyond anyone's imagination. Although it's not my favourite flick, it was touching and emotionally resonated with me. I'd recommend it.
George Malley: "I think I'm what everyone can be. I'm the possibility. The human spirit, that's the challenge, the voyage, the expedition."
One of my all time favourites!
A film that blurs the genres of science-fiction, psychological drama, and romance that comes off as a tale of highly likeable characters going through a life changing period. Good acting by Travolta as the common man surrounded by friends played by Kyra Sedgewick, Forest Whitaker, and Robert Duvall. Highly recommended. What a contrast to Tavolta's portrayal of a hitman in "Pulp Fiction!"
