I enjoy the whole Murdoch Series! Murdoch is the main character. He uses the newest science and inventions to do his sleuthing and forensics in the Victorian age. It is good for all ages. The violence is subtle enough not to traumatize young kids. It is not to sexual for kids. The stories are stimulating. The characters are deep. It is well acted and well directed. It offers historical Canadian history such as inventions, historical characters, historical incidents. I empathize with the characters in their situations. It can be an emotional experience watching the show.

I have been a devoted viewer of this series from Season One, but the mysteries seem to be overshadowed heavily by feminist and feminine focused topics this season. I can appreciate the Suffragettes being in context as an era appropriate issue, but the lesbianism was, frankly, bizarre, and of zero relevance, in my arrogant male opinion, to a Victorian detective series. And hypothetically on the flipside so too would, say, Crabtree and Higgins locking lips. Just completely thrown in there for what? Shock value?

Still love the premise of the show, and the cast, and I will definitely continue on with it.

Have been enjoying this series from the start, and this season was just as great. Looking forward to Series 8!

I tried very hard to be interested in this; however, the acting was so bad that I just pressed the eject button after the first hour.

Another delightful season! Really enjoyed seeing George Crabtree's character growth and of course watch his friendship with Detective Murdoch evolve. The season finale left me extremely intrigued for season 9! #freecrabtree
