* What an appealing concept! The story of Romeo & Juliet is retold in text message format. 📱

* It's definitely a much quicker read than the original. ⌛️

* The author stays true to Shakespeare's storyline, but adds in humor with contemporary slang and emoticons. 😀

* This book could be a great way to get teenagers interested in Shakespeare. It does contain some profanity (in the form of abbreviations like "WT-"), so it may not be appropriate for classroom use, depending on the situation. ⚠️

This book is really cool and gives a modern twist on well-known classic. Because of the texting the book is pretty easy to understand, too.

This book rocks! I liked the way it acted like you were the one sending the messages in the book. It is fun.

As a big fan of Shakespeare (cliche, I know), I thought that this book would be cute/funny/etc. However, I can't imagine anyone over the age of 14 being able to enjoy this book. Not only are the characters texting, which sounded like an entertaining premise, but they text like middle school girls, which is NOT so entertaining and s actually mind-numbingly. tedious. I've read far better Shakespeare spoofs than this- would not recommend.
