Ending was great. It was not his usual “can’t put it down” books. Took longer to get into it. Was ok.

I couldn't read this book. The main character is rude, confrontational, and generally unpleasant (Perhaps supposed to be "spunky"?). Terrible hygiene for someone who works in a hospital. Yuck.

I didn't like this book at all. It was slow moving and kind of boring. Big disappointment from James Patterson.

I CANNOT IMAGINE WHAT ANYONE WOULD FIND GRAPHIC ABOUT THIS BOOK. THE ONLY SURPRIZE IS THAT IT WAS PUBLISHED. WHAT A LETDOWN FROM AN AUTHOR WE KNOW WRITES MUCH BETTER BOOKS.

Loved this book. Couldn't put it down. Graphic at times, but what isn't. Finished in one day

As an avid reader, and long time fan of James Patterson's work, I couldn't get into "The Midwife Murders", the plot seemed a bit arcane, and I couldn't relate to the heroine in the book, I read about a third of it, then returned it early…

This book is not good. I didn’t bother to finish it as I honestly couldn’t bring myself to care what would happen. Don’t waste your time.

I cant even finish this book. 50 pages in and some of the stuff that has happened is so far fetched.. (yes, I know its fiction..but come on). I love James Patterson but this one is just awful.

I didn’t even bother finishing this book. The title led me to believe that it would be interesting but it wasn’t. I don’t know if it’s because of the dual authors .

Not well written. Subject matter is distasteful plus the hero of the story is irritating. Read half and checked book back to library,.

The story line for THE MIDWIFE MURDERS is interesting. The characters are all hyper-emotional. however. That's a total distraction and completely unnecessary. The story could have been told with more rational characters. And to top it…

This probably the worst of the "James Patterson" books I've ever read and I've read 99% of them I think (except for the short books). Patterson is no more involved in this book that the name on the cover. The book jumps from 1…

I actually couldn't finish reading this book. The midwife's behaviour is so ridiculously unbelievable and the entire premise so far fetched, I gave up. As a reader who was formerly intimately involved in the midwifery field, I…

The new procedure is tedious and confusing. Revert to the old system that is library patron friendly!

I have to remember that even if it states the author of a book is James Patterson that it may actually be written by someone else. In the case of this book, Richard DiLallo must have been the author. Now I have to remember that DiLallo …
